The City Neighbors Foundation is designed to support each City Neighbors school. Each City Neighbors school governance model is based on the keystone arch. When the three arches are joined together, we create The Keystone Bridge.
The City Neighbors Foundation is governed by a members council, which consists of four representatives from each of the City Neighbors’ schools and paid staff : Executive Director, Bobbi Macdonald, Mike Chalupa, Academic Director and Rob Noble, Accountant.
Overview
The work of The City Neighbors Foundation consists of two main components. First, establishing a fine tradition of excellence for all three City Neighbors Schools leading to an anchor of great education in Northeast Baltimore. Second, and just as important, the Executive Director and Academic Director are charged with positioning City Neighbors to fulfill its ultimate mission and serve as a change agent to positively impact the successful transformation of the Public School System.
As we grow and expand the work of the Foundation, we hope to extend this work to other schools through workshops, tours, writings, and public relations.
